Jamie Flett and Safetynett are brothers in music as well as in blood (Safetynett’s real life identity is Andrew Flett) and they’ve been arguing about the music they make together for the best part of 30 years. Their output has spanned a range of genres and configurations from guitar-based acoustic folk-flavoured songs to computer, synth and electric guitar based art-rock to four-piece produced heavy space blues to live ambient soundscapes with overlaps and variations in-between all of it.

For Fine Times they’ve put away the guitars and formulated a groove-backed, wholly electronic instrumental set based entirely – in the Flett sibling tradition - on their musical machines arguing with each other.
